We are the Western Australian chapter of the Pre-Vocational Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society. PVOGS-WA was established in 2015 and is comprised of an Executive and a Council of pre-vocational junior doctors and students spanning all years of the medical programs at The University of Notre Dame Fremantle, University of Western Australia and Curtin University. The aim of our society is to create a community and portal of communication between medical students and junior doctors interested in obstetrics and gynaecology in Western Australia. We support students and junior doctors in Western Australia by providing networking, educational events and workshops. Our social media presence provides our members with society updates, educational resources, relevant research publications and updates on O+G issues. We also work collaboratively with PVOGS-ANZ and RANZCOG to enhance the educational opportunities given to medical students and junior doctors.
